Before you apply for a visa or an entry permit, check if you are eligible for a visa-free entry or to receive visa on arrival or need eVisa prior to travel.
Visa Type:
For attendees traveling to Kuwait for the conference, you need to apply for a Tourist Visa.
General Requirements:
- Completed Visa Application Form: You can find this application form on the website of Kuwait Ministry of Interior https://evisa.moi.gov.kw/evisa/home_e.do or Kuwaiti embassy or consulate in your home country. To locate the nearest embassy or consulate, you can search the website of the Kuwaiti Ministry of Foreign Affairs https://www.mofa.gov.kw/en/
- Valid Passport: Ensure your passport has at least six months of validity remaining from your planned date of arrival in Kuwait.
- Photograph: Submit a recent passport-sized photograph that meets the specified requirements.
- Travel Medical Insurance: Obtain medical insurance with coverage for the duration of your stay in Kuwait.
- Proof of Accommodation: Provide a hotel confirmation or other documentation showing your accommodation arrangements in Kuwait.
Additional Requirements (for some nationalities):
- Bank Statement: Some nationalities may need to submit recent bank statements to demonstrate sufficient funds for their stay.
- Employment Letter: An employment letter from your current employer may be required for certain nationalities.
